Wood Carving is considered one of Thailand's finest traditional handicrafts that have been passed down from the Sukhothai period (1238-1438). The evidence of the long existing carving arts can be found at Buddhist temples on their windows, doors and other wooden parts.

Carved by hand from a single piece of wood, the teak wood carvings are created by local craftsmen and craftswomen whose woodworking and carving skills have been handed down for generations.
